Title: Computer & Systems Information Manager

Duties:

  • Manage the entire product implementation and project life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities and oversee project dependencies that occur during significant design, configuration, testing and implementation efforts through technical and operational project managers.

  • Manage technical projects of Manhattan’s cloud-based Supply chain products like Warehouse management, Order Management, Labor Management and Slotting optimization for retailers.

  • Design, Estimate, lead development and implementation of supply chain software product using java, microservice, GCP, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MarkMagic, Elastic Review project technical schedule with senior management both internal/external

  • Develop tools for retailers utilizing Omni-channel domain knowledge in helping retailers advance in omni-channel space thereby providing capability to grow their e-commerce business.

  • Design, build software and implement product integration with Material Handling Equipment systems, Time and Attendance systems, Event Tracking systems, IDPs, Payment systems, External Parcel Service, Tax and Loyalty system.

  • Analyzing business requirement for technical product changes of high complexity

  • Providing technical design specifications with proven frameworks

  • Lead Manhattan product upgrades, technology upgrades, data conversion strategies and cut-over planning during pre-active.

  • Review infrastructure and product performance metrics for customer’s volume and implement the recommendations through configurations and changes

  • Manage technical sessions, infrastructure review, status meeting, and support

  • Identify and provide solution of technical problems in all aspects from inception to product installation

  • Deliver high quality software deliverables by leveraging automation and tooling best practices.

  • Supervise 2 Developers (employees).

 

Travel Requirements: Will travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Limited domestic travel required. The position will require little U.S. domestic travel i.e., more than several days but less than 90 days per year.

Education:    

Bachelor of Engineering (or its foreign equivalent) in Electronics, Computer and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.  

Experience:

Five (5) years of experience as a Senior Analyst, Principal Technical Services, Consultant, or closely related occupation. Experience to include 3 years of experience in the following:

·      Manage technical projects of Manhattan’s cloud-based Supply chain products like Warehouse management, Order Management, Labor Management and Slotting Optimization for retailers

·      Design, Estimate, lead development and implementation of supply chain software product using java, microservice, GCP, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MarkMagic, Elastic

·      Develop/build software product integration with systems like ERP/CRM, Material Handling Equipment’s, External Parcel Service, Time & Attendance systems, Master Data Management, SSO etc.

 

Technical Skills:

Java, Spring Boot Microservice, Apache Kafka, AWS, MySql, Elastic, Velocity Template

Hours:

Number of hours per week: 40

Daily Work Schedule: Mon to Fri 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
